Your plane took off. You weren't on it.
The airport taxes you paid are still yours.
Check your flight for free. If we can handle your claim, our service costs only €2.99.
This is not a delay or cancellation claim
Not what we do
The airline cancelled your flight, delayed it for hours, or denied you boarding. That is compensation under EU261, and there are companies that specialise in it. We are not one of them.
What we do
The flight departed exactly as scheduled. You simply weren't on board. Nobody owes you compensation for that — but the airport charges in your ticket were never used, and those are a different matter.
Your ticket is two different things
What the airline charges to carry you. This is theirs, and on a restricted ticket they keep it whether you fly or not.
What the airline collects on behalf of the airport and the state: boarding, security, use of the terminal. The airline is only a collector here — it passes this money on, and only when a passenger actually passes through the airport.
You never went through the airport. Those charges were never incurred on your behalf. In most countries the airline is not entitled to keep them — but it will not return them unless someone asks.
Almost nobody asks. That is the entire reason this service exists.
"But my ticket was non-refundable"
Non-refundable describes the fare. It is the airline's answer to "can I have my money back for the seat", and the answer is usually no.
The taxes are not the fare. They do not change owner because your fare was restricted. A non-refundable ticket and refundable airport charges sit side by side on the same booking, and airlines rarely go out of their way to explain the difference.
It doesn't matter why you didn't fly
You do not have to justify anything, provide medical evidence, or explain yourself. The charges are refundable because the airport was not used — not because of the reason behind it.
- You overslept or missed the flight
- Your plans changed
- You were ill
- You cancelled the booking yourself
- You missed a connection
- You simply decided not to go
How it works
Check for free
Tell us the airline, the date and the route. We check the airline's published policy and tell you whether a claim is worth making.
We tell you where you stand
If we can't handle it, or if the airline's charge would exceed what you'd get back, we say so and you pay nothing.
We handle the claim for €2.99
Only if we accept your case. The airline refunds you directly — we never take a percentage.
